Addressing Tensions in $\Lambda$CDM Cosmology by an Increase in the Optical Depth to Reionization is published in Physical Review Letters (2504.16932). Joint first-authored with Noah Sailer, with Simone Ferraro and Martin White, the paper shows that a moderate $\tau$ increase — within data — can absorb recent $\Lambda$CDM tensions without invoking new physics.
